Radio Mystery Theater is a radio drama series created by Himan Brown that was broadcast on CBS Radio Network affiliates from 1974 to 1982. The format is similar to that of classic old time radio shows, with each episode introduced and hosted by E. G. Marshall, who provides his wisdom and commentary throughout. With each episode, you'll experience a professional cast of actors, great scripts and thrilling suspense.
Radio Mystery Theater opens and closes with the ominous sound of a creaking crypt door, accompanied by Marshall's disturbing utterance, "Come in!… Welcome. I'm E. G. Marshall." At the conclusion, the door swings shut, preceded by Marshall's classic sign off, "Until next time, pleasant… dreams?"
