Justin was born in 1981 right here in Simi Valley. His family later moved to Newbury Park, where he spent most of his childhood years. While in the 6th grade, he would broadcast his own radio show to his neighborhood right from his bedroom.
He was lucky enough to meet the legendary Sweet Dick Whittington from 92.7 KNJO in Thousand Oaks at a career fair who offered him an internship when he was 13-years-old.
One morning at KNJO, Justin was asked to make coffee for the morning show crew. While doing so, he accidentally melted the plastic coffee filter tray! He called my Grandma to ask what he should do. She said, “Go in there, and tell them what happened and that it was an accident.” He did and everyone in the room just laughed!
At 16, he had his own show called “The Saturday Night Request Fest” on 100.7 KHAY in Ventura. He was also heard on B-95.1 and Live 105-5 in Ventura and spent time in Santa Barbara at KRAZy Country 105.9 and Country 106.3. Justin was known as “Dante” when it flipped to a top-40 station, Hits 106.3. He was also on air at Country 93.9 KZLA and Go Country 105 in Los Angeles.
Justin has enjoyed a broad career in radio: Premiere Radio Networks, The Rick Dees Weekly Top 40 Countdown, Club Country Live with Tony & Kris, and After MidNite Weekends with Whitney Allen, Executive Producer for The Big Time Saturday Night with Whitney Allen, FOX Sports Radio, and On Air with Ryan Seacrest.
Currently, he works on the internationally syndicated nightly rock radio show, Sixx Sense with Nikki Sixx.
He lives in Palmdale with a menagerie of animals and plans to add a dog, a pig, a cow, a few goats, a couple of chickens, an Alpaca.
